Joe Wagner Guitar


Joseph Wagner has toured, performed and recorded with groups from Santa Fe to Morocco, sharing the stage with members of Santana, The Band, and Paul Simon. He regularly performs with his own jazz and fusion ensembles, and has composed award winning music for television and film. He has a degree in Music Composition from Moravian College where he studied with Dr. Larry Lipkis, and Dr. Sean O’Boyle. He has performed and/or studied with other notable musicians and ensembles including The Everyone Orchestra, Pat Martino, Dave Leonhardt, Bakithi Kumalo, Gai Bennici, Gary Farmer, Jim Weider, Tony Marino and Frank DiBussolo. Joe is also a sought-after guitar, mandolin, and bass instructor. His newest recording, with the fusion group Displaced Peoples is titled Sum of All Parts, and is available on iTunes, Amazon, and all digital streaming services.

Joe performs with Benedetto and Finocchio Guitars through a  ZT lunchbox amp, a Dr. Z Maz 8 Studio, or a modified Fender Bassman.

Music Is for all Occasions

Performing a classic repertoire to complement any special event or venue, Joe can be booked as a jazz guitar soloist, duo featuring upright bass, or  a trio of guitar, bass, and drums. Many ensembles are available, including a  quartet or quintet of piano and/or trumpet, horns, or percussion.
